I'd want a letter from the goverment saying it's a legal car
As far as I've been told. There is no way to get that car certified in Canada.
But if it's been done. Well then I'd jump on it.

he probably will get 1-2 year lease licence plate permission to use the
car in Canada, after that he will need to ship it back, I know Quebec Laws are more softer on importing the cars, unless the car was write off and needed new VIN which in this case he will be lucky to keep it
