Water temp

I swam on the beach at Pt. Roberts a couple of weeks ago, and in Barrier lake in the mountains two days ago. I'll take the 62 degree ocean any day.

The Pacific here and San Francisco Bay are distinctly chilly as well;-)

Since I like being <b>on</b> water rather than in it, that's not a big deal;-)

Gawd I miss that place. I grew up there....the smell of low tide. Alaskan ocean smells different

all the glacial run-off dilutes the ocean smell. The water is silty in the Lynn Canal until blue water influence (tidal flush) is present in Juneau.

Snap some pics of the concrete climbing toys in the park will ya? The big pink octopus. Still there I hope!
