Default Today is a sad day... I officially took the A4 off the road by cancelling its licence plate...

And making it a designated track car. So that left me with the problem of getting the A4 to various track meets.

Now that problem as already been solved because today amongst other things I bought an 18 foot Sure-Trac open car hauler.

Not to worry, I'm not putting the cart ahead of the horse(s). The problem was what should I do about pulling the A4/Sure-Trac combo?

Again problem solved... Today I also bought a 2003 Ford F-150 extended cab with a short box and trailer package. It is powered by the 4.6L V8. It's only RWD but it does have "positraction" (LSD) and seems to be pretty decent in snow. The truck came with 4 brand new snow tires and 4 almost new summer tires. Now I need to find a nice cap to fit onto the box and I'll be done!

Well I'm selling our 96 Jetta too so that leaves me the Passat wagon and the truck.

Default Hmmm... rwd truck...

well, I guess if the weather gets really crappy or you get the truck stuck, you can just take the car off the trailer and tow the truck out.
