The unquestioned reverence and respect granted to non-sensical beliefs collectively called
"religion" just blows my mind.
I'm sticking to <a href="http://www.venganza.org/">Pastafarianism</a>.

I don't see a problem here.
Canada affords him the freedom of religion, and his rights under the Charter clearly supersede any traffic regulations, so long as his choices don't endanger others.
Canada is host to half a million Sikhs, the largest Sikh community outside of India. It's reasonable that a country's laws be representative of the needs of its population.
Canada is a tolerant country which has been continually shaped by immigrants. It offers a chance of freedom and a better life for all who come here without asking them to forfeit their cultural identity in the process. It's a place for very different peoples to peacefully co-exist, and it works.
Bottom line, he is not asking you to put on a turban; don't ask him to take off his.

He may not be endangering my life, but he's endangering my pocket book.
If he doesn't die quickly and ends up a helpless, brain-dead gibble, who do you think is going to end up paying all of his health care costs?!
On that note, I agree with April's suggestion.

100% agree. If he wants to end his life earlier, let him, but just don't let it affect...
taxpaying citizens. If he ends up having to spend the rest of his life in and out of a hospital on my dollar, just because he wanted to exercise his lack of intelligence, I'll behaving none of it. It's not a matter of IF he gets in an accident, it's a matter of WHEN. Darwinism will catch up.
I ride a sport bike and I honestly feel that every one of us riding motorbikes should have to pay additional health and life insurance. The likelihood of us being seriously injured is far greater than any other motorist, wearing a seatbelt or not. This is why I choose to wear every piece of optional safety gear thought possible.

You endanger my pocketbook every time you break the speed limit.
Or if take your car to the track.
He does it for religious reasons, you may do it for fun/whatever. Same difference.
