Default UPDATE on my DNP tubular exhaust manifold...

I told you, back a few months ago that I had a slight problem with the interior finishing of the DNP manifold. Well I just got it back from a shop that worked at smoothing out the interior.

First a general view of the exhaust manifold

Now a picture showing the inners before the mod.
You can see how the tubing did not match the flange.

Now this guy worked hard at fixing the problem, there was some grinding and he re-welded the tubing by the inside to fill in the gap. He then buffed it smooth. He now claims because of the interior welding that the tubing is more secure to the flange. Not an easy job in a tight place.
Sorry for the quality of the picture, I had to get as close as I could.

Now he also reworked the other end of the tubing where they all meet together to become one. I don't have a picture of it before the process but take my word for it the aftermath is smoother and nicer.

The next step is to test fit the manifold to my K03 to see if we encounter fitting issues with it. Apparently someone had a hard time with it. If everything goes well with that process, I will send it out to get ceramic coated. Stand by for a further updates.

Nice fix. On the subject of ceramic coating, haven't you already had that done?
