How about a hockey puck? Cut notches for the pad and a big notch for the weld seam.

I tried to organize a GB for a part like this, but was totally brushed off by the distributor 8^(

Did you get extra bulbs? I'm worried I won't be able to find some when mine burn out.

I asked Sanjay about buying the bulbs itself and he said there's no problems doing so.

Default Ya, it's about $100/bulb. Oh, you can also get a different temperature bulb.
Was planning on getting the 8000K bulb whenever one of them burns. But that would be $$$.
