Default Would you guys hotel recommendations in downtown Vancouver BC ?

Looking to spend three nights in the downtown area (with parking)...Nice but not ballar expensive...Maybe Embassy Suites type of grade...Safe clean and with walking access to restaurants, shops, waterfront...Planning a driving trip with my wife in early July...

Many thanks...We are really looking forward to our trip...

Default a comment....

The Pacific Palisades and Hampton Inn are both nice, though the Palisades is on the higher end. Don't have any experience with any others. I found the Hampton Inn much nicer then the ones you standardly run into through the states(more modern, nicer rooms, etc.). Rates should not be too bad, I believe tourism is down in BC lately. Have a good trip.
Regards

Default Try the Listel Hotel on Robson Street.

We spent a few nights there recently and were quite happy. It's a smaller and older boutique type hotel that is nicely decorated with native artwork from some local museums.

The location is excellent being right on Robson Street where all the good shopping and restaruants are. Stanley Park is within walking distance as is most of the museums and galleries if you're into that.

It is rated very high on TripAdvisor.com and the price was reasonable. Summer rates might be in affect now though.

Default Lots of options depending on what you want to spend.

Something close to Robson Street is nice for walking and to Stanley Park. How much?
