Default Audi/VW Tuner Shop in Madison, WI possible!?!?!?!?!

Hi everyone!

I am the VP of New Dimensions and am have been offered the chance to open a tuning shop with service and parts (VW/Audi as the specialty as the store is now in CA - expanding into other german as needed to pay the bills) in Madison, WI. I'm looking for input as to where people would be willing to drive from for top notch ND service, possible interest for techs/parts sales.... I know myself, from being an Audi owner in Madison that there is hardly anything out here for us in the Midwest, and Madison is a central spot for the Milwaukee/Chicago/Madison group it seems with the highway system. The shop will do installs and service on factory as well as performance parts.

What do you think? If all goes well and I have a lot of support, I will be opening Aug. 1, 2001....... Anyone seriously interested in a job as well?

Email me direct at Michelle@newdimensions.com

Hi Michelle. I drive from Chicago to Lodi, WI at least one weekend per month. I spend a lot of time in the Madison area when I'm there. If you're going to be open on weekends, I'd like to stop by. Put me on your email list. mmladeno@equuscs.com

Thanks,
Marko

Michelle,
While a job there is a bit impractical for me, living in Milwaukee, I am very interested in a tuner in the area. Please keep us all posted on the forum.

Default Sounds interesting

Hi Michelle,

That sounds interesting...madison isn't to far away from Chicago. Just service work? or will you be selling performance stuff?

Default Anyone Heard of Courtesy Auto or Dubwerks?

It's surprising to hear that michelle doesn't know about her own accounts in WI and IL. Courtesy Auto Service in Madison,WI has been doing VW repair and modification for 10 years and Dubwerks in Libertyville,IL has just opened its new larger shop. They both do some great mods and carry quality products. Give Them a call.

Surprise Surprise...In fact I do know Courtesy Auto; In fact they are a vendor of ours and already buy from New Dimensions. I've been there several times and also seen them at several shows and auto crosses. They are very nice people and do good work.

The shop is planning to do service for performance as well as maintenance and have a showroom with a parts department as well.

Default I'm in Milwaukee....

I'd be interested in service, upgrades, and performance parts. There is noone in the Milwaukee area (that I know of) and would be willing to make the drive.

I assume that's your white A4 featured car? If you offer services to make mine like that - very interested!

Default dzip: looking at Dubwerks web site,...

it doesn't look like they carry much in the way of Audi-specific parts, almost all VW. I know Michelle asked about opinions on an Audi/VW tuner shop, but I'm interested only in the Audi half.
