Default Body shop recommendation needed, preferably west 'burbs...

On the way to the BWW GTG Friday night, the allroad got rear ended. And had just piced it up from Continental too. 5 weeks in PA at dealer for turbo replacement, had it back less than a week, took it to Russ who fixed an oil leak (thanks Russ), on the way home got rear ended. Think there's a message in there somewhere?

Rear end, pushed into the car in front of me so some front end damage too, seat was forced back a good 4" on the tracks and now rocks back and forth, CEL on too. No pics yet (not in the mood), but similar to the link below. And his damage was $16K and just rear end.

GMcB's allroad damage

Sheesh! When it rains, it pours, huh? I hope nobody was hurt, at least.

Default Enormously happy with A&L Auto Body. (address inside)

1979 W Dundee, Palatine
Corner of Northwest Hwy and Dundee

They did a first class job on wifes' A6 from a parking lot idiot who drove into the rear quater panel, drivers side. Bumper to wheel well was reworked and can't even tell.

Default Quattro, kinda not easy to get to for me, but its the ONLY shop I trust with my car(s)

From the part of Elgin that I live in, its probably a 45 minute drive and no real easy way to get there either - but the quality, price and customer service are by far superior to anywhere else I have gone for the 25+ years that I have been driving

Default Sheet metal is repairable, at least you're OK.

That does suck though.

Default Ouch! Go to Custom Cars in LaGrange.

Just a few blocks from the train station and they do great work. They're an authorized Ferrari collision shop.

Glad you're ok!
