well we are down to the elite of the elite...
and the big ten conference itself wasnt that much of a struggle for the illini.
regardless, the #1 team sure shined against AZ....

Ok...
I will admit that a few key players played well and it was helped by an AZ colapse. Its not that I dont want the Illini to win, but lets be honest about it. If the AZ defence did not colapse at the end the game would have been over. How many missed 3's did the Illini have in the 2nd quarter? it was like their offence was not capable of geeing inside the arch.

completely agree...
they sure did miss alot of 3s, and their inside game was average at best.
the AZ defense did collapse near the end, but williams and gang stepped up though too...
but without question, i hope they spend this week looking at all the tape, and going over what they can improve for saturday's game.
but man we are so close....
i was a hookah lounge off of wells on saturday night. there was one single tv (with a busted antenna mind you), tucked back in the coat check room...i swear half the club was in that coat check room watching the game...what a riot!
