Just about Blew my head off on friday........
I have no clue how you chi-town boys do it. I was on my way back from vacation and stopped in merrilville for lunch (Hooters), and got on 65 @ 2:00, needing to go to WI. I decdide to do the by-pass, took an hour and a half to get to the first toll, then there was the 2 truck accedent just north of Cicero (sp). not knowing what to do, I got off on 50 (cicero), and decide to drive the 17.1 miles ot 94 in skokie.....WTF was I thinking, 2 1/2 hours on a road with 473 stop lights.......
HOW DO YOU DO IT.....thank got I had the A6, and DVD's for the kids.....
left gurnee at 6:50, that is 4:50 from the border to border.....
worst 65 miles in my life.....
but other that the 45 deg. rain and being in front of a Evo with a greatfruit shooter droning...not that bad of a ride

you came from IN? the dan ryan (90/94 south of the city) just started major construction on saturday
so that would have sucked... that being said... yesterday I did chicago to skokie to chicago to gurnee to chicago... and none of that was bad at all...
