Looking for a trailer hitch for a 2006 A6 Avant
I bought a 2006 A6 avant last fall and I'm looking for a trailer hitch for the vehicle to tow a small boat (less than 1500lbs). I've had a lot of trouble locating one that fits this model. If there is anyone out there who has had this problem and found a solution PLEASE let me know.
I found one hitch a curt class 1 hitch part # CTM 11166 but I've gotten conflicting reports on if this will fit or not. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Avants are tough. Factory allroad hitch no longer available so some of us
are resorting to trying to bring the Euro hitch into the country.
Masterhitch in Palatine told me they wouldn't touch my allroad with any kind of hitch or even try to custom make one.
Da'lan is a reputable euro hitch maker. Might try to find one. Would be OK for your 1500 lb requirement.
