Default OT question... what kind of TV/internet do you have?

i'm in the process of moving into my new place over the next few weeks. one thing i need to decide on is my tv and internet. i currently have directTV w/ tivo which i love. i was looking into comcast digital cable because they offer DSL and i'd assume you would get a deal if you got both.
anyway, what do you have, are you happy with it, and what are you paying per month?

thanks!
matt

Default Bootlegged, the best kind.

Comcast offers high-speed internet service
$75.00 per month, twice the speed of DSL...includes basic cable.

Default It's a good thing that this question didn't come up on GTG...

DirecTV is tough to beat IMHO.

Although I loathe Comcast, they have been great as an ISP. BTW - if they offer DSL, forget it - you want a cable modem unless you do a lot of uploading.

Default I have Comcast for internet and standard cable TV

The cable modem rocks. I pay about $50/month for the internet alone.

Default Digital Cable / High Speed Internet for $49/mo

Comcast is running a special, I'm paying $49/mo for high speed and digital cable including HBO and some other channel. Not a bad deal IMO. Forget what the standard rates are. I've never been impressed with Direct TV  I hate the fact that it can/does fuzz out and not get reception at times, seems to be too frequent for my liking.
