well i wasnt able to pick up the car on friday like i planned, but i'm hoping to get it sometime this week. if i am able to and am able to pick up this engine hoist, i'd like to remove the 8v engine this weekend if possible. the 1.8t should be here early next week. in that case, i'd like to get that put in the following weekend (december 6th). i know that i will need to get a downpipe, an intake pipe bent and fmic plumbing made, but i'll concern myself with those after the engine is in place. installing the motor/wiring/trans is the number one priority.

do the next two weekends sound good to everyone else? my dad has a propane heater that i'm sure he'll let me borrow. i'm going to have to get some better lighting (because some of you guys know how dim the new garage is). tonight after work i'm cleaning up the garage so it's not as dirty and there's more room.

if there's any problems or whatever, i'd rather have the car in my garage and not taking up space at someone else's place. as soon as the engine is put in and the car is running i'm putting the car in storage for the winter.
