Audi Q7 EA839
I have a Audi Q7 S-line 2020 Petrol engine (EA839 model) which has had an EML and knock sound. I got an independent workshop to do a borescope evaluation and they are convinced this needs a new engine from the look of this cylinder. Would appreciate if anyone can advise if this looks normal / bad and if it is the latter then what do they see? Is this a candidate for the EA839 piston skirt and cylinder scoring issue that Audi as identified?
