Account confusion?

I tried to set up a new account:
Screen name: jimmy94507
e-mail: jimmy94507@earthlink.net
(tracking # 302776)
I received no e-mail so I could not complete the process. Went to
the URL that came back from "status", but, it ended with ...cookie=deleted
and URL would not work since it couldn't resolve "deleted"???
So, I went back to my original account and tried to change the
e-mail address to "jimmy94507@earthlink.net". Got an error that
this is taken. So I followed the status to new link URL which
still ended with ....cookie=deleted, but,
new tracking #:125586.
My original screen name is fine but I need to change
my e-mail to: jimmy94507@earthlink.net
What/how can I get this resolved?

If we left the cookie in the email we log, then you would skip the whole step of making sure the email address worked. That's why it didn't work.
We show in our system, that the email was successfully delivered to earthlink.net. You'll need to work with them to figure out why you didn't receive it.
Once you've figured that out, then you will be able to use your new account.
I still have not received an e-mail to validate the new account:
Screen name: jimmy94507, e-mail: "jimmy94507@earthlink.net".
Can you delete this new account, since I can't get access.
Then, I can change my original account: Screen name: Jim Stoner,
to the new e-mail address.
