If you are going to keep segregating the forums, may as well and add a 13 year old **** forum. That's 90% of what AWOT has become.

i sort of agree with you, but the problem is the format is too fast-paced
Many of the AWOT threads are out-dated in a matter of an hour or two, so starting long/ongoing discussions is difficult at best. One of the advantages of separate forums for various topics is it slows things down - fewer people are starting threads, so the existing threads stay active for much longer, which stimulates greater participation in each event. Isn't that why people are always posting for day-crew and night-crew? They know that by the time the "night-crew" comes on, the "day-crew" threads will be buried so deep no one will see them. Fine for AWOT, but not if you want to have a detailed, elaborate discussion going.
Actually, the vB forum format would probably fix this problem just as well by doing a better job archiving individual threads, but sounds like that's not going to happen any time soon.
