Could the thread tracker function be enhanced to block a thread?

Could the thread tracker function be enhanced to block a thread?
Sometimes people get these Huuuuuge threads going about stuff I don't really care about, and would be nicer if I didn't have to scroll past all of it every time.

Maybe a little "bt" below the "tt"?
I guess the real hard part would be to unblock a thread is one so desired. Maybe it could just put it at the bottom until the thread in it's normal position gets pushed off the page.
