Default fonts, again!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I know I'm not the only one experiencing this still. I'm using IE-6 with the latest updates.

This is what I see now (medium font selected)
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/20501/forumtextmed.jpg" border="1">

This is what I see with the next larger font:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/20501/forumtextlrg.jpg" border="1">

In both pictures; the lines "total threads... total pages" show what the font size should be throught the whole page with this font size setting.... that's what the rest of the web looks like at this setting.

However, please notice that in the 2nd picture, the messages themselves are in a font even LARGER and bolded than the general text on the page. This has changed with the update, and I cannot remedy it in my browser.

I can't stand it !!! ;-)

Nancy

The forum has been IMPROVED so that Netscape 4.7x users are proven inferior.

What's wrong with the first pic? Looks completely legible to me.

Default No...it only proves why NS 4.x is inferior.

IE 6 has no problem rendering the fonts properly.

Default what's wrong is that at 1280 x 1024 on a 21" monitor it's too dammm small for me to read....

size is subjective, and DOES matter!!!!!

the thing is, that the message font is inconsistent with the rest of the page (larger font selection).

Default NS4.7x may have incompatibilities but it is not inferior...

It is much faster and easier to use than IE or NS6

Default Unless you're viewing certain pages that use a perfectly acceptable form of Cascading Style Sheets.

For Audiworld viewing, Netscape 4.7 is now clearly inferior, given all the complaints from its users.

Default No, NS4.7x is just incompatible with AW, or the other way around...

AW is the only site out of hundreds that I visit where this is a problem.

you should really upgrade to IE 6. IE 5 was a bug infested sloth.
