That text (which is not like the rest of the text on the page) has a point value which is an absolute size instead of the relative size we use elsewhere (there's one more place too, but it's insignificant as well).

I'm running the same setup (browser, resolution, monitor size) and I hardly noticed a difference...
between the size of the fonts Monday and the size of the fonts today. I assert that if you were able to read them Monday using the setup you have just described, the fonts are barely smaller today.
