Ignoring Users, e.g., "deAutoLED"

Ignoring Users, e.g., "deAutoLED"
I tried to ignore user "deAutoLED" so I could continue to enjoy spam-free "New Posts" reading, but their latest campaign is showing up loud & clear. I checked my "Ignore" list, and they are the only user there, but they were there already. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, I asked the question (below) a while back but didn't get a reply. Just in case, I included the important part below:
Whenever I get to AW early in the A.M., I see several "CbD gUmMieS" posts (and other single-post users pushing something totally unrelated to Audis) from new users. Does it help at all to flag them (with the "Report Post" triangle? I ask because I see that they always disappear pretty quickly.
Also, if I could be given a sort of neutered Moderator power so I could delete them, I'd certainly be happy to do so.
