Johannes - an issue with the new software - multiple postings in same thread...
If I write a message, or reply to someone else's message, AND TRACK THREAD...the software knows *not* to immediately mark my post as *new* to me after I post that message. It waits for the next post after mine before the thread becomes "new/updated". HOWEVER, If I reply elsewhere in that thread, it triggers to mark the thread as new also. In other words, the software doesn't know that it's still me posting again and therefore shouldn't update. It just knows that someone has posted since I started tracking and therefore marks the thread as new.
simple example:
I start a post and I'm the first reply to it.
Start post, selecting "Track Thread"
"Post New Thread"
"Go Back To Forum"
post is not bold at this time
reply to my message
now when I go back to the forum, my second message is bold/new
did that make sense?
