I just did a search and found that I have an old account on here. It is linked to an old email account that I cannot access. Is there any way for me to switch over to that account? I realize that you cannot merge the accounts, but I wouldn't mind using my old (very low number) account. Is it possible? What do I have to do to switch?

I don't know why I never saw this before when I googled my name. It showed up today and I has a 2-digit account number. I don't know how that happened.

Way back when there were no account numbers, we could enter anything we wanted to for the name of the poster when we posted. When registration was introduced, I held out for a while since I enjoyed being able to type in anything for my name. When we were forced to register in order to post, I got a fairly high number since I delayed in registering. So I have no idea how I got such a low number with my old posts and sig in it. My post count will go down about 14,700, but that's OK. Unless they delete my current account (9267), I'll reference that in my sig.

So no, you cannot have this account.

I got the accounts switched. Screen Names and email addresses have been changed and both have active email address. I will try to get the pictures moved by the end of the week.
