Oddity with firefox on linux.

Pull down menus are UNDER the banner ad on top. (Firefox 1.0.7).

Firefox bug

It only happens with Flash banner ads. We have the correct attributes set to fix that and it works on IE and Firefox on Windows, but Firefox on Linux is still broken for me too.

I have a couple of ideas of workarounds I'm going to start working on now that we have the rest of the work done.

Works for me- Firefox 1.5.0, official Linux i686 binaries

Just not on Opera 9.0 Preview 2 (Linux), but I should try a stable release of Opera (8.52) before complaining.

Do you know if the problem exists with 1.5?

If so maybe that's a good excuse for me to upgrade.

I'll check it out

I run FC4 on my desktop and it is Firefox 1.0.7. I have FC5test3 on my laptop with Firefox 1.5. I'll see if it has the problem.

I still show it with Firefox 1.5.0.1 on Gentoo 2005.1

It's certainly a Firefox bug under Linux. I'm trying to come up with a workaround.
