Problem with editing posts that contain certain HTML code
Editing appears to break certain HTML code.
I posted a message last year with lots of links.
<A HREF="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/95850.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/95850.phtml</A>
I wanted to post a new message using some of the same content. So I visited that message, hit edit, and copied the info. I pasted it into a new message, and posted.
Unfortunately, the forum seems to replace some HTML characters with other codes, such that after editing, the codes no longer work. None of the Map links worked.
However, when I found my source on hard disk, and pasted that into the new message window, everything worked fine:

I'm not sure if this means that a message with HTML code for certain types of links (such as maps) cannot be edited without breaking the links. In my case, it did. But perhaps something happened between last November 2001 (the original message) and today (April 25, 2002).
FWIW...
Thanks!
