Seatbelt buckle Rubbing side of stomach
I have a 2006 A3 and 2016 Q3.
The seat belt buckle on both cars and both front seats stick up so high that they rub the side of my lower abdomen and are becoming extremely uncomfortable when I drive.
My 02 Allroad had the seat belt buckle lower and did not rub.
The new ones stick up about 6 inches including (male latch) when buckled in The metal latch is so high it is pulled across my lower belly.
.
Am 6'2" 190 so not a big (fat) person.
Audi, can you look at the ergonomics of the seat belt set up?
Want to buy another Audi to replace the A3 but will not buy another car that is so uncomfortable for me to sit in.
Anyone else have the same experience?
Is there a shorter receiver assembly that could be installed to lower it closer to the floor and lower the belt connection to my hip?
