Tech section . . .
You've got 3 "Timing Belt Replacement" articles in the "engine" section, but two of them don't deal with Timing Belt Replacement. One of them should be renamed "What happens when your timing belt goes south", the other one should be renamed "Your timing belt will eventually go south . . . hehe, I told you so".
Since Audis will self-destruct when the timing belt goes, this is a subject worth pursuing especially since the "official" A4 manual doesn't describe the procedure. Andy's "Timing Belt and Tensioner" write-up (link below) is serious work and should be included in the engine section, IMO.
The tech section is not improving, and users with real technical knowledge are becoming increasingly scarce at AW. As to your other point -- there is less technical information than in the past -- what are your suggestions? Anybody who reads that section can tell that the only way to it to grow is for people to continue to contribute. Probably 90% of that content is user contributed.
While we wish that we could sit around thinking up technical articles, it's hard enough just keeping up with the site on a day to day basis. Perhaps you'd like to submit an article, or at least continue to be on the lookout for ones that could be added.

Just FYI...
...the article linked (my article) HAS BEEN submitted (back around November '01). So, I guess the main thing that could use improving is the time from submission to publication. Thanks.
