Why Carfax requestes getting deleted?

Why Carfax requestes getting deleted?
First it was a request for AUDI, reply provided was via Autocheck. It was not in violation of their terms. Does AW specificaly prohibits sharing history on AUDI vehicles?

No but we do not allow Carfax requests to be put in the forums...
This has been a standing deletion for some time now. Yes, we may have missed some carfax request deletions from time to time..but not on purpose. It doesn't cost that much to join Carfax yourself. Carfax didn't mean to sell membership to people who then do tons of carfax requests for their friends. We are adhering to some basic business ethics. Don't shoot the messenger.

OK, so request for "vehicle history report" is ok?
Again, it is not against Autocheck.com policy since I am doing it free of charge and not planning to exceed 25 checks in 2 months.
IMO, vehicle history as a safety consern for a new buyer should available from federal / state agencies free of charge.
