Default seems impossible when the playing field and rules seem to shift.

In seriousness I am very objective when it comes to AW. Whether or ot you see or appreciate it, I have been here because I LOVE the place for what I get out of it personally, and the satisfaction of being what I think is a positive contributor as a whole to it's sucess. It's a good place and worth preserving, while accepting it's changing and growing nature.

To that end I also will comment in a effort to help it not go down a road that is unfair and damaging. You think of my actions as antagonistic, and that's the problem. You don't see my actions and rare post here as a sign of a problem. Come on Neil, it's been a long history - you actually think I'd post a serious point of view with the intent to just sh*t fling at you or the mods? Something is seriously and evidently wrong when the apparent actions seem to bias against any commentary related to friends of some folks. I am NOT the only one to see and mane note of this. Are we all wrong? are all the regulars that see the stuff here nearly 24/7 out to make a particular point for no reason? If there is any antagonism, it's the immediate defensiveness that you and mods seem to take when there is any raising of an alarm.

I think you need more folks like me watching out for the well being of AW. There are a lot and you know who they are. The mod clich seems a bit unbalanced, and not enough that have some greater understanding and history with how AW has evolved over the years. Maybe you do, but it sure doesn't feel that way. Note that the n00bs don't make these points, but the vets that have seen it change.
