Anyone know what the standard IRS Deduction will be for the sales tax deduction?

Yes you will, but there will be a table based on income of what the line item can be.
Or, you can save all your reciepts. If you use the table method, you will be allowed to add for cars and boats.

I was trying to locate the table of standard state tax deductions for 2004 with no luck.
Sucks that this passes at the end of 2004, when I have thrown most of my receipts out. I guess Breeze's car purchase will qualify....not sure that I have bought anything else that would qualify.

Is there Sales Tax on Services in Florida?
If not, the your whoring expense is unlikely to generate a sales tax deduction. Now, if there were goods included in the service, you might be in luck...

itemize your federal return, not this deduction
Right? If I itemize anyway, you reference the table to figure out how much you can deduct.. Or, like Jordan said, you can save reciepts and such (go go home depot)
