Default ARGH! Tire shop scratched all 4 of my new wheels!!!!!!

I bought a used set of 06 RSX wheels and had new tires installed. I get home (in the dark) only to find a circumferential scratch on all 4 wheels! The wheels weren't perfect when I bought them, but I know for sure those scratches weren't there before.

It's not all the way through the paint, but it won't buff out. It's about a half inch from the edge of the wheel all the way around. It looks like damage from when they took off the old tires.

What are my chances of actually getting them to replace my wheels?

Default Tires Plus on Eau Gallie. I've used them before with no problems...

I guess it was my day to get the 19 yr old who didn't care.

Default The one beach side?

I've used them many times, they did the Eibach suspension install in my Passat years back. Usually good service but they are slooooooow!

Default yeah I was there for 3 hours. Like I said, they were awesome on the last job.

I *might* be able to buff these scratches out. It just pisses me off that somebody else's carelesness will cost me half a Saturday.

Richard was the tech last time and I couldn't have been happier with his work.

Default The place I went to for 10+ years (Town Tire) told me the last time I went in

that they couldn't guaranty that they wouldn't cause cosmetic damage to my wheels. I looked at Brian (manager I've know and worked with the whole time) like he was joking-- he just stared back at me. I said, "You're joking, right? I guess I need to go somewhere else." He said, "I would."

He said they had trouble with the low profile tires...

I went to Gainesville Tire, told them what Brian had said (these guys all know each other) and they were as surprised as I was. But they guaranteed that they'd take care of my wheels, and they do. Still, every time I have any wheel/tire/brake work done I point out that my wheels are flawless and they'd better stay that way.
