OK, some people have asked if the club could host an ALMS BBQ/party next Sunday for the Mostport race.
So, we first need to poll the club to establish if there is enough interest for everyone to come over to Casa Long on Sunday to watch the race, cook out, and play some Need For Speed/Play Station 2. If you would be interested in joining us, please post below with a "Yes"
If there is enough interest for this to happen, we will then need volunteers for the following items:
Drinks: sodas, beer, etc.
Food: hamburger patties, hot dogs (beef kind, no crappy mixed mystery meat kind), chicken breasts.
Chips: potato chips, tortilla chips, etc.
Salad: probably best left to my wife to handle...
PS2: Someone needs to bring over a PS2 console so that we can play some road racing before and after the race.
I will most likely be able to reimburse all expenses incurred through our club account (except beer) as long as no one in the club has a problem with such an expense out of the club account. So if this is going to happen, we need volunteers to post below for which task they would like to handle.
Here is what the schedule would be:
Noon: start BBQing and the PS2 Grand Turismo 3 competition begins.
2pm: start of race coverage on NBC
5pm: race coverage ends, more PS2 gaming begins.

If we have several PS2s, can we link them together so that we can do head to head racing?
I know you can do the split screen on PS2, but what about separate consoles on separate TVs?
