"L" mode, and turn X band off....
But if you go up to GA, Shane Flowers recommends that you turn X band back on since some GA counties still use that old band. Once you turn off X band, the V1 is much easier to live with.

As do some counties in FL. Many of the older squad cars in Volusia are still running old radars
that function only in X band. However I've only been popped by X band once or twice since I've had V1.

you want a mute switch?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/45027/top.jpg"></center><p>goes right on the back of your high beam switch so you can just flick it when the V1 starts going off. Same function as pressing the volume control **** mute button. Just easier to access
