Default now a chip

Just got the Neuspeed Cat-Back exhaust installed. It's nice, but I need more power. Now if I could only figure out what kind of chip I could get away with without blowing my transmission.

I was thinking the Revo chip (they say they have a chip that's detuned for the CVT). But I was toying with the idea of using a mildly-tuned K04 program (with a K04 turbo upgrade - of course). I wonder if it's even possible? I have a longer inquiry on the A4 B6 board. If anybody has insights, I'd love to hear it. I already know the first piece of advice - get a manual.

Default Re: now a chip

I wouldn't worry about it. I have the APR chip in my 2004 A4 with CVT and it comes NOWHERE near overwhelming it!

Default email me if you are interested in a K03 GIAC socketed chip; we could swap ECUs; more

the chip put down 170 torque to the wheels (I'm quattro) in 93 degree heat with apr exhaust, K&N filter and stock IC; you might do better with the dual IC and if you are frontdrive (less driveline loss). The chip makes a big difference over stock; I have had no problems what so ever; car runs great.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if we could swap ECUs since you are CVT and I'm stick; I will have to call my Audi mechanic.
Where are you located? I'm in the Tampa area.
