Default So yesterday Breeze tells me that she thinks we should get another 944.....
....as my grad school graduation present. Hmmm....sure miss that car, but I would really want to save $$$ by going the used Miata racer route, or maybe an early 70s 911. I even suggested a VR6 Corrado, but she is very skeptical of VWs since the last 2 we've owned were both big o' piece of crap (Fox & COrrado G60).

She thinks Miata might be more boring than anohter 944. True....but at what cost?

Default Miata = topless and VERY reliable. Cheap to work on too.
If you go Porsche....get a 951.

Default Either way you are dead if you get hit in a Miata. Roll cage/bar is a good idea though.
I've seen pics of a turbo miata that was flipped at high speed with a roll bar and the guy walked away.
