I don't know what it is... this one just doesn't do it for me.
After watching the 24 hours of Nurburgring (yes, a 24 hour race on the Nordschleife) and seeing a race prepped B5 RS4 compete with the top Porsches, BMWs, Vipers and even a Skyline or two, it's just hard to get excited about this new one when the old one is what it is!
At 20 hours into the race the RS4 as running at 5th OVERALL! I don't know where it finished though.

$65 would be a great deal, but isn't the silly S4 25th anniversary edition $60K?
I only call the S4 25quattro silly because the price is so much higher just for different bumpers and a few tads...

65-70K. word on the streets i travel is about 67K base
once you add GG tax, options, and sales tax you've got around 75K.
figure about 5K for full mods to a base S4 (62K total) and you've got about 370-380 hp. add FSI, etc...and active suspension to that and you have an RS4...with warranty...makes sense to me.
many haven't given this machine the credit it deserves. look for 0-60 in about 4.5 secs in mag testing....
