thoughts on car covers
Since we moved office my car is stuck out in the sun/rain all day. Thinking of getting a cover for it.
Any ideas or recommendations?
Thanks

Meh. I used one for about a year.
They are a PITA and if it's even remotely windy, forget it. Audi paint is some of the best in the biz. My car has sat outside during the day uncovered for the last seven years and the paint looks as good as the day I bought it. Plus, I think car covers attract unwanted attention.

Be sure to get tinted windows, a custom fitted sun shade and....
...I heard of people having their windshield tinted with a clear UV blocking film. You can't see that it is tinted, but it blocks a lot of the sun out of the cabin.
As for sun shade, I always order mine from a company that makes a nice think reflective cover(forgot name, will get their info on the sunshade for you when I go home tonight).
The Sunshade helps a lot, I would never park a car out in the sun without having it in place.
As for your original question, I would think car covers might be a hassle to do daily, but then you have a very rare/expensive car, so it might be worth it.
