TPMS wheel sensor testing?
Hello -
I recently got errors from 2 TPMS sensors in 2 wheels. The errors weren't very specific...but I went ahead and purchased 4 "spare" wheel sensors.
Does anyone know of a local facility that can test the 8 TPMS wheel sensors and confirm which are bad and which are good?
I could put the TPMS sensors in the wheels and mount the tires, but I'd rather test them before mounting the tires.

are you out of warranty?
I would love to have that feature on my car, but have yet to see any that have an interface for the car that doesn't look like crap.
Here's an idea, you probably have a full size spare, right? Swap it out with each tire for a day and see if you can narrow down where the broken one is.

In warranty...no full sized spare...but
VAGCOM told me which wheels had the problem...but I'm looking for some verification.
I found a place on the internet that offered to test them for me, but I don't want to mail them off - rather find a place local.

Yes...can test with VAGCOM...
...when they are mounted on the SUV.
But not sure what the error code means. I have another set of wheels with TPMS mounted on the SUV that work fine.
I'm looking for some other way to confirm the issue...
