2018 TTRS P2015 code
Took into Audi dealer for warning lights: "engine" (yellow pictogram of engine) and "engine control" (yellow pictogram of car with exclamation mark alternating with one of an analogue gauge). Message says rpm limited to 4000. Any insight from this esteemed group? Audi service says the code flagged "intake runner position range performance". Note on service record says: "performed adaption and passed. Checked vacuum source and vacuum to switching valve is good. At 2800 rpm valve opens as should. If occurs again suggest replace switching valve and potentiometer." Quote for this with tax is $2100 (parts $635) Canadian. As this inspection did not definitely confirm this to be the issue I'm looking for comments to ensure this is the right move before spending $2K.
