3b code 20v.... what transmissions are compatible?

3b code 20v.... what transmissions are compatible?
i'm curious... i have a '91 200 20v with the aforementioned engine... when my tranny goes (it's fine now) i want to upgrade to a 6 speed... do i need to find an rs2 tranny? or are the later s4 trannys compatible?

All Audi 6spd transmissions from longitudinal layouts are 01E units.
The four caveats I can think of is that the early 5/6spd units have a "weaker" 1st gear, there is likely a difference in clutch setups, there is definitely a difference in shift mechanisms, and also a difference in trans case to subframe brackets.

As in direct swap? There are none. Only the stock ADZ code 016
You will need to change flywheels, clutch, clutch slave, mounts, shifters and possibly axles to make an 01E go in a '91 200q. You would also need to eliminate or modify the PROCON 10 brackets and/or cables, as I believe that the 01E brackets are in a different position than the 016 PROCON stuff. NOT an easy swap by any means.
Not worth it IMO. I would likely be cheaper to sell the car and buy an S4/S6 that someone already converted. Six speeds are bolt-ins with S4/S6s.
FWIW, the only 200q that I have ever heard of with a six speed was a race car that MTM built.

Rebuilt RS2s go for $3500 or so + shipping, they figure another $1k worth of the rest of the parts.
You can get used S4 2.7T transmissions used in the $2k range, but you would need to change linkages, etc.
