7A engine question....

More distributor related than engine...

The 3B dizzy is a single window correct? Is the 7A a 5 window?

Both are single window I believe, don't quote me on that as I don't have one in front of me

They also have different gears, not compatible without swapping

Where have you been!?

I haven't seen you around these parts lately. How are things?

I've decided to go IIb on my cq conversion, but have been trying to figure out the ignition bit. What 5 window distributors besides one from a 40000q are out there and what are the installation problems with other distributors?

Basically, the 10v non-turbo dists are 5-window, but do not fit the 20v head.

Very different distributor bases and gears. You MAY be able to fit the NF/NG bits inside the 7A or 3B distributor?? Otherwise, you'll have to add a 5-pin setup somewhere.

I've been around, but working, trying to find a different job that does more for me than just pay bills.
