Default 7A Troubles!!! HELP!

Hey everyone after a while of wondering why my 7A runs liekc rap and run really rich at times i figured out how to get my codes pulled. i got these codes.
2342
2242
2232
2144

The 2144 is teh most concerning as i think its causing my uber rich running conditions. It seems my #2 knock sensor isnt reading or is faulted. I cant locate it as i dont have a manuel and its pretty messy in my engine compartment. I guess tightiening it to 7ft lbs and checking wireing should solve if im lucky. can anyone point me in right direction?

Also two codes are pointing to a high output voltage on my MAF. i happen to have a high flow intake from K&N and i made a heat sheild.
I took out plugs to inspect for dmaage as i had a couple of misfires at idle after making some high rpm runs down a highway. I only hit 6500 for a second tehn i immmedtly dropped off gas and put in neutral to easae engine stress as i was testing the knock sensor theroy. i was told that at about 6000 rpm the power loss i was experincing would dissapear and shurly enought after my car struggling tis way to 6000 in 3rd gear it took off like nobodys buisness at 6000 ish.

So basically i need help finding knock sensor 2 or any other tips in fixing car. i also look at spark plugs and look at top of pistons with light and they lougha bit rough but i can still see a bit of shiny on top... please help!

Default The knock sensors are

On the drivers side below fuel rail. Number 2 is in the vicinity of below injectors 4&5ish.

Start with that before anything else. If the ECU thinks the sensor is bad it will immediately retard the timing 8deg. Trying to diagnose anything while in that state is pointless.

Default As many electrical issues are

It may be an intermittant thing.

The sensor my be loose on the block.
The cable may be frayed/bad.
The sensor itself may be on the way out
The connector to the harness may be shot.

Oh and a head's up if at some point you do need a new sensor. Only the #1 sensor is available. They are both exctly the same, only the lead on the #1 is longer. So if you need to replace the #2 sensor, get a #1 and you'll just have extra lead hanging around. The OEM color's on the original connectors is different, but you can deal with that.

Default FInding the sensor..?

Thanks.

Looking for the knock sensor I couldn't find it. Is it under the fuel distribution thing? I see the little mount with 3 wire connectors. Anyways I don't see it and there is alot of gunk down there due to the EGR? rubber hose being broken.

If you wanted i could take a pic and you could circle it with ms paint or something and that would help me alot.

Anyways ill keep looking but thanks for the info.

Oh btw when i rev to 2000 rpm and let off i get popping. Is this a result of being rich or my timing being bad?

Thanks for the help so far.

Kyle.

Default Look here

This motor does not have knock sensors (don't ask), but notice the two bolts on the side of the block? That is where the sensors attach.

And this is what you are looking for. Your connector for the number 2 knock sensor may be a different color if is the original.
