Default Anyone dyno'd their MC2 on 15+psi?

I am in the middle of building an MC2 to throw into my CGT and just can't resist the urge to ask for some horsepower estimates. Aside from a mild cam grind, a 1mm overbore and setting the boost to 15psi, the engine is stock, breathing through stock intake, intercooler and 2.5in exhaust.
I'm guessing it'll be just short of 200hp@flywheel...is this about right?

I would say more like 230-250hp crank if its a good chip.

Default The usual figure I see is around 220. Dump the stock IC or at least strap it.

An excellent unit is the Ford Powerstroke diesel unit. It is enormous with excellent flow and about $176.00. It would never fit as is. But, it is all aluminum and you could have it cut.

I posted a pic. I meant to put one in my minivan, but never got to it.

yeah I sorta figured the dinky stock IC wouldn't cut it...I think I'm gonna stay sidemount, but maybe go with a Mitsu Starion unit.
Also, has anyone ever done the "resistor mod" to their ECU? Soldering a resistor of a given value across the terminals of the vacuum/pressure sensor inside the ECU so that a lower pressure is registered, thereby avoiding the fuel cutoff above 8psi or whatever stock ECU is set to. I've heard of a number of people who have used it reliably...any input to the contrary?
By the way, thanks for the HP estimates! Very encouraging! : )

Default I don't think running 15+ psi with just a resistor mod is a good idea.

A good chip gives you remapped fuel and ignition to support the higher boost.

My guess on a FWD car is around 180ish at the wheels.

Default I made 189whp with an MC1, NF head... and CIS at 12 psi

you might be higher at 15psi... although you also don't have the big intake valves.... or a 3 inch exhaust.

Default im running the zener mod on my car... IIRC ... its a compromise though

because your timing doesn't get pulled back as you go past the stock map.

Default Re: I made 189whp........Any torque figures?

I estimate I'm around 230bhp with a IA stage 1 kit on my 88cst, but I was wondering what kind of torque figures I'm running, any thoughts? whatever it is it feels like alot of push.

TIA J
