Default Firing order question

ok so most of us have 1-2-4-5-3 stamped on our cyl. heads

so we assume that the pistons BDC 1-2-4-5-3

so i would assume that the cam lobes would too just cause

today playing around with one of my engines i notice the intake lobes 1,2 and 3 hit the peak point where the valve is open in the order 1-3-2 then after a half a rotation(exagerated prolly but to give an idea) of the cam shaft it goes 4-5

its a thinker for me

can anyone elaborate on this, my turbo cam and regular cam did this
