Default would a bypassed FPR on an MC2 (1989 200) cause damage?

I dont know alot about CIS but i woudl think that would provide really high fuel pressure?

or maybe really low?

a car I am looking to buy has this done to it... I would put it back to stock with a new FPR but I nwat to make sure that the engine wasnt damaged because of it being run that way.

Thanks in advance for any onfo.

Default Do a compression check

if it was running particulary too rich then you "may" see some loss of compression.

But otherwsie, no it shouldn't have caused anything significant.

Do a good check and be thorough though. I have found that if one thing has been "rigged" there's usually something else that's been tinkered with.

Default I was re-reading my many emails with the owner, turns out its the pressure accumulator....

under the car, which is no biggie.

I will be doing a compression check anyway though.

and I plan on having to replace stuff anywho.
