Default I used to run them - a little more dust than Mintex Red's, as quiet, and better initial bite.

I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

Default Yep, XP8's would not be ideal for streets.

I'm running Bobcats on the front and OEM pads in the rear. The Bobcats barely leave any dust while the rears will be black in a matter of a week or two. The only problem with the Bobcats is that they are a little pricey.

Contact brakeswap.com and just tell them you're a part of the audi club and he'll give you a discount. Plus they're local so you can pick them up too.

Default Ultimates are semi-metallic. I have had them on my car for over a year.

They're dusty, but decent for street driving. In the wet, they're slow to respond. Not too good with heat, either. Couple of hard stops from highway speed in summer heat is all it takes to make them feel like sponge.
OTOH, they perform well in the dry for their price. Cheaper than Hawk HP, but better grip.

Default I forget which ones I purchased for Nov06 VIR. Ended up not going, but Jimax can attest

to which ones they were. They were track pads though.
