Anyone in Philly know a good tint shop?
I was planning on getting the Avant tinted, finally found time to be without the car and alas -- the shop I had in mind lost thier tint guy.
Anyone know a place that doesn't have 3mo wait lists, does a NICE job, and won't pull the door panels off to do the job? I am not fanatical about it being cheap, just car about a good job with decent materials. I was hoping to do this Tuesday, but Thursday could be a possibility.
I STFA, and all I find is talk of "is it legal"?
TIA

There is a shop in Ivyland called A&H Motorsport...
last time I checked they offered tinting services. I've done business with the owner of that shop (Evan) off and on since the mid-90's...real nice guy and always a pleasure to deal with. I haven't used them personally for tinting work, but based on my (other) past experiences with him, I'd recommend him.

What the heck does B&A stand for??
Last year he sold off his parts business and decided to do strictly service work...I wonder what's up with the name change. A&H used to stand for Acura and Honda, even though they handled all makes of Japanese cars. The B in the new name confuses me though??

I agree, but we get raped around here for tint work...
My parents moved to TX and had both their cars and the home tinted. They paid a premium for one car ($200), then had the other car tinted for dirt cheap when the guy was at the house doing the windows. All the work they had done was excellent. Guess all the competition down there brings prices down to sane levels. People down there wouldn't dream of spending $300+ for a tint job...yet up here, if you want it done well, that's what you'll fork out.
Okay, rant over...
