Default Brake warranty question....

I need to replace the rear brakes and was wondering if I should replace the fronts as well. My delima is that I'm AoA Certified. I know the rears are not covered but the fronts are...right??? If I replace the front pads with aftermarket...could this give the dealer an excuse to refuse rotor replacement when that time comes? I plan on getting the EBC GreenStuff pads(8 pad set) to save money instead of just the rear pads.

Default Why do you think the fronts are covered and not the rear?....

if you are under the new car warranty 4yr 50k miles then brakes are covered. No brakes are covered under the 2yr 100k warranty.....

Any recommendations on rotors? Does one normally change rotors when changing pads?

Default I doubt they'd replace your rotors even if you remained stock

The only time I can think of is if they cracked or warped, and IIRC the Allroad guys have had these problems and have had some fights w/ AoA over replacement.

Rotors aren't a big thing to replace anyway...easy DIY..I say put on the pads you like, AND replace your rotors at the same time.

4/50K MILES ON BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS. Audi Certified does not cover wear items.
