My S4 sounds like a freaking sewing machine now in comparison ... this was like a total boner killer. I hear you rev it up and I'm like "Buh." .. insert tiny music here. The rest of the ride home all I could think to myself was "Damn .. this engine is so corked up it isn't funny. This has GOT to change.."

I enjoy the B5 S4 tone, but it's difficult to beat the B6 S4 tone
It has that mean V8 sound but more moddest and smooth than an American V8.
On that note, I also LOVE the sound of the BMW 645ci....very similar.
