Default I believe it's quarterly. I dunno - I just pay into an escrow account as part of my mortgage payment
I don't really think about it until the end of the year when they tell me if I overpaid or underpaid.

then again, I have to know these things for my line of work :-P I can tell you the tax due dates in almost every eastern state....ugh.

Default How does the escrow work? Do they automatically forward the money to the county when the tax is due?
I applied for a mortgage with escrow...

Default yes and they pay twice a year.
I did the same and I'm thinking if it's really worth having escrow.

Default Without escrow, I would've had to pay a no-escrow fee that would've gone straight to the lender and
then I'd have to pay taxes on top of that. I opted for the escrow.
